Far out into the dark moving mass
I see white light blinking rapidly.
Tears fall in quick torrents
As I feel the hot breath of death.

I stare with devilish delight
As the blackness beneath me moves angrily.
I watch it toss and turn
While I lift an ebony finger.

Streaks of heat dance closer now
As I watch the beast come closer.
I grin manically at my friend
While I feel my chest constrict.

I whirl, I dance, and shout to him
As I feel the lance strike.
To soon I fall into the depths
And was quickly swept home.

The war has begun with the raising sun.
I can hear the screams as they cross over the stream.

The scent of death is all around me.
Voices wash over my ears while I make my pleas.
They all laugh while my comrades swing from a nearby tree.

All alone I stand tall while I watch others fall.
My friends they have all met their end.
Soon the bite of a knife will end my life.

I beg and I scream at them all.
Heed my voice, heed my call.
Honor I want in one last brawl.

I can hear their snickers as the fires flicker.
The dusk has come and I feel numb.
Tears stain my cheeks as I try to speak.

Did you miss my Midnight book picks? If you did, check out my blog here on Tumblr or on Blogger (http://thechosendarkness.blogspot.com) I picked three interesting looking paranormal romance novels last night and posted them up for others to see.

Also, I am thinking of making a Facebook for myself and what I do. I am nearly on every social network out there. At least some of the more popular ones any way. So why not Facebook? So, sometime today I am going to try and get that done. Then, I will let everyone know!

One last thing! I am currently writing two books. Both are coming a little slower than what I wanted, but seeing as this is the first time I can remember that I have been this focused about writing, I guess it is okay.
